Description

What is all this buzz about Entrepreneurial Finance? Join Luisa Alemany and Job Andreoli, authors of the book "Entrepreneurial Finance: The Art and Science of Growing Ventures" to hear more!

At this BrainBite session, professors Luisa Alemany and Job Andreoli will lead an interactive discussion on the field of entrepreneurial finance, its trends and future. But, first of all, what is the difference between entrepreneurial finance and corporate finance? Do we really need a new field? What is the role of the entrepreneurs and how can they increase their chances of getting financed? What sources of financing are available? What is the difference between them? What happens next?

Come and join the discussion on business angels, accelerators, incubators, crowdfunding, venture capital, corporate venture capital, impact investing, cryptocurrencies, management buyouts or search funds, the process of investment, and some tips to increase your chances of a successful venture.

You can order the book Entrepreneurial Finance: The Art and Science of Growing Ventures (Cambridge University Press, September 2018) via this link. Bring your copy with you if you wish to have it signed by the authors! The book will not be for sale at the event.

Join us on the 16th of October - please note that places are limited.
